HEIGHTSAFETY TRAINING ACADEMY DELIVERS TACTICAL HELICOPTER FAST ROPE TRAINING IN KOSOVO
Heightsafety Training Academy (Pty) Ltd successfully delivered tactical helicopter fast rope training in Kosovo for Starlite Aviation.
KOSOVO TEAM
The training was conducted on-site from the 1st of April 2011 to the 8th of April 2011. All training included practical exercises from a Puma Helicopter provided by Starlite Aviation.
The exercises included Helicopter fast rope insertion techniques, helicopter repelling techniques and equipment lowering.
All rope work was done by means of an A-frame mounted inside the helicopter. The A-frame was developed by the South African Special forces in the early 90 ties and fitted to all RSA Air force Oryx helicopters.
The training provided is just another indication of Heightsafety Training Academy’s true subject matter expertise.
